Ed was born in Perth, Australia, but resided in Brisbane for many years where he mapped out a career as a professional, sole- practising architect.
Ed painted all my life, exploring different styles and themes. During those years, he also developed and pursued creative writing, screen plays, and in lighter moments, dabbled in humorous cartooning.
His latest projects focused on full scale paintings. The Flapper series depicts groups of full length figures in motion, detailing them in happy everyday scenarios and where the scene suggests more to the story than meets the eye. The Edifici series on the other hand shows scenes of the interesting places in the world, both near and far away, both famous and less well known.
